Josef and Anni Albers Foundation
Imaging 4 Art digitally photographed more than 5,000 pieces in the collection of the Josef and Anni Albers Foundation including paintings, drawings, prints, photographs, furniture, jewelry, textiles and pre-Columbian artifacts. In consultation with the Foundation, Imaging 4 Art researched and acquired a high-resolution digital camera deemed best suited to the specific requirements of the project. With the work completed, the Foundation now has a comprehensive digital database used for archiving, research, condition reporting, information exchange on the Internet, and publication. These images have already appeared in numerous books and exhibition catalogues including Albers and Moholy-Nagy: From the Bauhaus to the New World (Tate Publishing, 2006); Josef Albers: To Open Eyes (Phaidon Press, 2006); Anni y Josef Albers Viajes por Latinoamérica (Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia, 2006). albersfoundation.org
